HOWARD BECK, Bleacher Report and BR Mag


Howard is a senior writer for Bleacher Report and BR Mag, now in his 20th year on the NBA beat. Prior to joining Bleacher Report, Beck spent nine years covering the Knicks for the New York Times, and seven seasons on the Lakers beat for the Los Angeles Daily News. A 1991 graduate of UC Davis, Beck began his journalism career at The Davis (Calif.) Enterprise, where he covered sports and city hall. LIZ CLARKE, The Washington Post


During her 17 years as a sportswriter for The Washington Post, Liz Clarke has covered the Washington Redskins, seven Olympic Games, two World Cups and written extensively about college sports, tennis and auto racing. Before joining the Post in 1998, she worked as a sportswriter at USA Today, The Dallas Morning News and the Charlotte Observer. She has twice been honored as Motorsports Writer of the Year. And she is the author of the book, “One Helluva Ride: How NASCAR Swept the Nation.”  She is an occasional panelist on Comcast SportsNet’s Washington Post Live, an interactive sports roundtable covering the stories, trends and topics in the news and on the minds of sports fans throughout the Mid-Atlantic area.  A graduate of New York City’s Barnard College in 1983, Clarke lives in Washington, D.C..

LEE JENKINS, Sports Illustrated and SI.com


Lee Jenkins joined Sports Illustrated and SI.com as a senior writer in September 2007.  He has written more than 50 cover stories for the magazine and co-authored the “I’m Coming Home” essay announcing and explaining LeBron James’s decision to return to Cleveland in 2014.  Jenkins came to SI from The New York Times. Before that, he worked at the Orange County Register and Colorado Springs Gazette. A San Diego native, Jenkins graduated from Vanderbilt University in 1999, which he attended on the Grantland Rice-Fred Russell Thoroughbred Racing Association Sportswriting Scholarship. Jenkins lives in Los Angeles with his wife, Elizabeth, son, Austin, and daughter, Ainsley. He can be found on Twitter @SI_LeeJenkins.



Jason Reid joined ESPN as an NFL columnist in February 2015. A veteran journalist with years of expertise covering the NFL and professional sports, Reid’s work appears on the NFL pages of ESPN.com.  In addition to writing for ESPN, Reid is co-host of The Man Cave with Chris Paul and Jason Reid, the morning drive program on ESPN 980 in Washington, D.C.   Before joining ESPN, Reid was a sports columnist for The Washington Post. He originally joined the newspaper as beat writer covering the Redskins. Prior to that, he worked for 15 years at The Los Angeles Times where he covered the Dodgers, Clippers and provided college basketball analysis. He began his professional journalism career covering prep sports for the newspaper.  A native New Yorker, Reid was raised in Southern California and graduated from the University of Southern California’s School of Journalism.


JOHN STREGE, Golf World & Golf Digest


John Strege is a senior writer for Golf World and a contributor to its parent, Golf Digest since 1997. He has written for the New York Times, Los Angeles Times and Sports Illustrated, among other publications.  Strege is the author of "When War Played Through," the winner of the United States Golf Association International Book Award in 2005; the bestseller "Tiger: A Biography of Tiger Woods" in 1997; and three other books. John lives with his wife and daughter in San Diego County.
